About the cottage

Built for the Blacksmith, on Lord Ventry’s Estate in 1897, this family owned stone-cut cottage, has recently been completely restored,retaining its original charm with modern comforts, by conservation Architect Peter Pearson Evans.

A spacious living room with wood burning stove, lounge area and library leading out through double glass doors into wildflower garden, restroom, cloakroom and south facing private sun porch. Our Eco friendly air to water heating system insures you will be warm and cosy during your stay here.
Please note that while there are no cooking facilities, there is a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. Continental Breakfast is included and a home cooked breakfast is available on request at a small extra cost

Dingle Town is just 2 miles away and Ventry Blue Flag Beach 1 mile. Burhnam Woods, The Small Strand, Bird lagoon and Dingle Harbour are adjacent to the cottage. Horse riding, Hillwalking and Kayaking facilities are also close by.
